Morpheus 8
Morpheus8 is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling device, meaning that in addition to heat, it combines the properties and benefits of both radiofrequency technology and microneedling procedures. Ultra-thin needles that emit radiofrequency energy are stamped into your skin to create a controlled mechanical as well as thermal injury, which, in turn, prompts collagen and elastin production—the two key proteins responsible for skin firmness, tightness, and smoothness.

How long do results last?
Although the effects of Morpheus8 are not permanent, the results of a treatment typically last up to one year. We recommend having one maintenance treatment every six months to ensure lasting results.
It should be noted that results aren't instant (collagen doesn't grow overnight). However, your skin will have a nice glow right after the treatment, but you may not notice any smoothing or tightening effects until about a month later. So if you're trying Morpheus8 to improve your skin before a big event, we would recommend scheduling your appointment about 4 months ahead to get all the necessary treatments done and to have enough time to heal and see results.
What can I expect during and after treatment?
Although one treatment can be done for a nice result, for optimal results 3 treatments are recommended with 4 weeks in between each treatment.
Right before you leave home we recommend you take 1000mg of Tylenol if you have no contraindications to it.
When you arrive for treatment there will be some paperwork to fill out, and then we will apply numbing cream to the areas of treatment for 45 minutes to 1 hour. So, you’ll want to make sure you bring something with you to do or plan on relaxing and taking a short nap!
Right before treatment begins we provide you with a hand held, self delivered, breathing apparatus that delivers 50% Nitrous and 50% Oxygen. It's very similar to laughing gas experienced at your dentist office and usually decreases anxiety by 80% and discomfort by 50%.
Treatment itself can be described as the device passing over the area to be treated with a quick stamping motion, using several passes. Depending on the areas being treated, treatment itself usually lasts 30-90 minutes, and is followed by cleaning the skin and applying a protective ointment.
Despite being such a powerful treatment, the downtime after a Morpheus8 is relatively minimal. You can expect the treated area(s) to feel warm and pink to red in color…think sunburn. On days 2-4 your skin may be pink, dry in some spots and possibly some pinpoint bleeding marks or skin serum rising to the surface. Although rare, some may experience bruising and a swollen appearance that may last up to 2 weeks.
